Overview

MPB4000 are NZTA approved, vehicle activated portable traffic lights manufactured by Peter Berghaus of Germany to RiLSA German standards, comply with AS/NZS 4191:1994 Australian standards and New Zealand temporary traffic requirements.

The MPB 4000 lights can be programmed conveniently with a handbox in just a few steps and can be used in radio, quartz timer or cable modes. MPB4000 can control alternating one-way traffic, T-junctions and four-way intersections. Programs can be customised to suit traffic management requirements using Ampeltools, a proprietary software tool.
