Overview

MBA-5 units are lightweight manually operated portable traffic lights. The two signal heads can be operated by wireless remote or cabled remote, giving crews a simple and flexible way to manage short-duration worksites and controlled access points.

The front control panel is easy to read. Green time can be set either under full manual control by setting the dial to infinity, or by setting the desired green time in seconds on each traffic light. Once the green time has elapsed, the signal head automatically changes back to red via yellow, and green time can be adjusted during operation.

Remote options

MBA-5s are available with a wired remote option, or with wired and wireless remote options.

There is no syncing of the remotes. Just switch on the lights and they are ready to go.

The 8-channel handheld wireless remote has a range of around 800 m and controls two signal heads reliably with built-in feedback, allowing the operator to read the signal status from the remote.

The wired remote uses backlit red, amber and green buttons, making it easy for the operator to see and use. It is supplied with a 5 m cable that can be extended to 15 m.
